Regional Harmonization to PVE in Coastal West Africa: Q and A

Question 1. We will be happy, if you could assist us with the following: Having access to the full Notice of Funding Opportunity.

Response: The full Notice of Funding Opportunity is posted on www.grants.gov under the funding opportunity number SFOP0006930.

Question 2. Our university is registered on Grants.gov. Since the Call is linked to myILMS, is the University supposed to register on myILMS too?

Response: Per the NOFO, eligible applicants are required to submit applications solely via www.grants.gov and we encourage you to review the eligibility category. U.S. Department of State (DOS) requires that all DOS awards be issued via State Award Management System (SAMS), which is the official name of myILMS. The recommended applicant would be required to register for SAMS and secure the ability to manage the award through SAMS, including acceptance/electronic counter-signature within the system.

Question 3. Are we eligible to register on myILMS as an institution?

Response: According to the NOFO, the eligibility category includes: “U.S.-based non-profit/non-governmental organizations subject to section 501(c) (3) of the U.S. tax code; For-Profit Organizations; Overseas non-governmental non-profit organizations; Foreign Public Entities and Public International Organizations.”

If you are planning to apply for other DOS bureau funding opportunities that allow application submission also through SAMS (myILMS), you should be able to register. For assistance with the system, applicants must contact SAMS/ILMS Help Desk at 1-888-313-4567.
