About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a rolling file shelving system procurement by the Alton Mental Health Center (AMHC), a facility operated by the Illinois Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR). The procurement (Contract No. 26-444DHS-MENTH-B-52350) seeks vendor installation of a complete high-density mobile rolling file shelving system at 4500 College Avenue, Alton, Illinois. The system specifications include six shelves per unit with four standard dividers per shelf. The vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for furnishing and installation. The shelving will be located at a pre-identified site where measurements will be taken from a bump-out area. The existing flooring will remain in place, and a floor vent will remain operational without interfering with the track system.
Alton Mental Health Center is tax-exempt, eliminating sales tax obligations for the procurement. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements; however, union labor is not mandated, and vendors may utilize non-union prevailing wage labor. No information regarding specific pricing terms, bid due dates, site visit scheduling, bidder conferences, award timelines, or contract term is provided in this Questions and Answers document.
