About this file
This is a Darfur Contracting Certification document required by the State of California for a solicitation to procure audio equipment, software, and services (GovTribe ID: 130-193894). The certification pertains to Public Contract Code section 10478 and applies to bidders or proposers with business activities or operations outside the United States within the previous three years. Bidders must certify their compliance status by selecting one of three options: confirming they have no international business activities, disclosing they are a scrutinized company with written Department of General Services permission to bid, or certifying they maintain international operations but are not a scrutinized company as defined under Public Contract Code section 10476. The procurement is for audio software and equipment along with services including furniture assembly and installation, software configuration, and orientation training for an individual with disabilities.
Bidders must complete the certification by providing their company name, Federal ID Number, and the printed name and title of an authorized representative. For options one and two, initials are required; for option three, an authorized signature and certification under penalty of perjury are mandatory, with the signatory confirming they are duly authorized to legally bind the prospective bidder. The certification must be executed in a specific California county and state. No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, funding amounts, or contract award details are specified in this certification document.
