An accelerated photodegradable polypropylene netting is laminated to the surface of the blanket. Futerra completely degrades on-site as grass grows through the blanket fibers.
The wood fibers biodegrade adding organic material to the soil surface. Futerra has been engineered to significantly reduce soil erosion and migration of the underlying seed bed, while enhancing seed germination and growth.
