About this file

This is a Base Access Letter (BAL) template for contractors to request unescorted base access at Goodfellow Air Force Base for a pre-award site visit related to a Fire Riser project (Solicitation FA303025Q0020). The template is designed to collect visitor information including full name, date of birth, driver's license details, and last four digits of SSN for access on March 12, 2025.

The associated solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside with a value under $25,000 (NAICS 236220) for Building 3323 at Goodfellow AFB. The work involves removing and replacing an existing pre-action fire riser system, including associated piping, pipe stands, and sensors. Key dates include BALs due March 6, 2025, site visit on March 12, 2025, and questions due March 19, 2025. The Air Education and Training Command intends to make award without discussions but reserves the right to hold them if necessary.
