About this file
This document is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the remanufacture of the F108 Turbine Clearance Control Valve, issued by the Air Force Sustainment Center. The solicitation (FA8122-25-R-0003) is a firm fixed-price requirements contract with a base year and four one-year option periods, totaling five years. It is being issued as a sole source requirement to AAR Corp., though all responsible sources may submit capability statements or proposals.
Key details include a requirement for vendors to have an approved Source Approval Request (SAR) prior to award, with the contract effective date set for on or after September 18, 2025. The solicitation covers the remanufacture of a valve that controls turbine blade-to-shroud clearance, with inspection and acceptance at origin. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS), with a current NIST SP 800-171 assessment score. Proposals are due by August 18, 2025, at 1:30 PM CDT, with emailed proposals preferred. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror.
