The notice addresses the COVID-19 protection requirements for contractors under recent Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23, which supersede the previous Executive Order 2021-20. The notice requires all agencies to include the amended COVID-19 protections clause in all solicitations, regardless of procurement method, including those currently published on BidBuy. The clause mandates that vendors adhere to the vaccination, testing, and face covering requirements specified in the Executive Orders, and allows agencies to implement additional vaccination or testing requirements.

It also states that the agency may implement vaccination or testing requirements that exceed those in the Executive Orders. No other details about the contract opportunity, such as product or service specifications, response dates, or award information, are provided in this amendment.
