Description of Work: The project is located at the USDA Forest Service Ouachita National Forest Shirley Creek Recreation Area about 3 miles west of Oden, Arkansas and ¾ miles south of highway 88 on Shirley Creek Lane and Albert Pike Recreation Area about 6 miles north of Langley, Arkansas at the north end of Highway 369.
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to Remove the existing vault toilet at the Shirley Creek Recreation Area and relocate it to the Albert Pike Recreation Area Loop B day use area in the location shown on the plans.
Fill the hole at Shirley Creek Recreation Area after removing the vault toilet.
Provide grading and vegetation as required.
Option 1: Build an ADA compliant concrete sidewalk from the vault toilet entry to the loop driveway where shown on the plans.
Site Location: The project location is the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas, on Shirley Creek Recreation area.
Site Visit: The area is open to the public. Please complete a site visit as necessary.
The estimated start date for this Contract is September 2024, with a duration of 4 months from NTP.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Your proposal should be based upon the attached SOW requirements and the Wage Determination that will be incorporated for your locating in which the work will be performed.
The proposal can be submitted on company letter head and should contain sufficient details to allow the government to evaluate key price factors.
Deadline: The USDA-FS requests that you return your proposal to charles.cotton@usda.gov NLT 1200 EST 19 September 2024 (or advise the USDA-FS on availability). Please label the email subject line: Albert Pike SST Relocation Company Name. You are also encouraged email me to confirm receipt.
Payment and performance bonds are required.
