RFI No. 3 – General Questions
THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS OR BIDS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS RFI IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY.
1. Please describe any experience you have managing worldwide supply and logistics and the number of items/parts managed. Describe your experience with ITAR compliance for shipments overseas using commercial means. Identify if this experience was performed as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
2. Please describe any experience you have as an Item manager for weapons systems under Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP). Did this include operation of a contractor-owned facility (warehouse), located CONUS (lower 48 states) to properly ship, receive, inventory and store C-ICP and non-C-ICP parts in separate locations, package, and ship parts globally? Identify if this experience was performed as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
3. If you already have an Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), formerly Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS), compatible Inventory Management System (IMS), what impact would a government off-the-shelf (GOTS) product have on your logistics capability or operations? Please provide pros and cons for mandating this type of product.
4. Please describe your experience performing system administration on a global network both in-person and remotely. Identify if this experience was performed as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
5. Please describe your experience in satellite communications. Identify if this experience was performed as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
6. Please describe your experience in supporting a secure network and maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) process? Identify if this experience was performed as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
