About this file

This is a promotional mailer document for the City of Pittsburgh, Department of Public Works, soliciting bids for the Annual Recycling Calendar 2027. The mailer presents marketing materials and specifications for the production and distribution of recycling calendars intended for the Central and East regions of Pittsburgh. The document outlines the calendar's design, content structure, and distribution strategy, with the calendars serving as an informational tool to educate residents about the city's recycling collection schedules, guidelines, and environmental initiatives. The bid submission process requires interested vendors to submit quotes by the specified deadline, with award anticipated to the selected contractor who will be responsible for calendar design, printing, and delivery to designated distribution points throughout the specified geographic areas.

The contract has a budgeted not-to-exceed amount of $30,000 for the annual recycling calendar project. The project involves production of printed materials in a mailer format, suggesting significant print quantities to serve the Central and East Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Pricing should encompass all costs associated with design, printing, and logistics. The solicitation is issued by the City of Pittsburgh's Office of Management and Budget on behalf of the Department of Public Works, indicating municipal funding through city operational budgets. Vendors responding to this opportunity should address their capability to meet production timelines and distribution requirements while maintaining cost efficiency within the established budget parameters.
