TECHNICAL CAPABILITY CERTIFICATIONS
Vendor shall certify that the equipment and services being quoted meets the capabilities listed below and that vendor can assume all contractor responsibilities stated below by initialing at the bottom. In order to be considered for award, this must be completed and submitted with the vendor quote.
TECHNICAL CAPABILITES STATEMENT
General Specification for DOT/NRC RAD WASTE TRAINING
Shall be provided with the following capabilities, features and specifications: Yes No
Vendor shall perform at least 40 hours of training as listed below:
(32) hours of Department of Transportation (DOT) Requirements AND certify participants.
(4) hours of Load Securement Requirements AND certify participants.
(4) hours of International Air Transportation Association (IATA) Requirements AND certify participants.
Provide testing in all areas as required by Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, 49 CFR, Part 172, Subpart H
Provide stated training for a maximum of twenty five people
Secure and provide training space in local travel vicinity of Norfolk Naval Shipyard
Notify government points of contact of training details at least two weeks prior to scheduled training start date.
Meet all requirements in the SOW: “Key Responsibilities”, “Education and Certifications”, “Experience Requirements”, “Skills and Competencies”
The Contractor must be able to meet the dates of service: 1/12/2026 to 1/16/2026.
