About this file
This is a Contractor Due Diligence Affidavit document related to the City of Cooper City, Florida's comprehensive fee studies solicitation. The affidavit serves as a certification form that contractors must complete as part of their proposal submission requirements. The document establishes due diligence procedures and contractor attestations necessary for participation in the competitive procurement process for multi-department fee and rate studies covering water utility rates, wastewater utility rates, community development fees, parks and recreation fees, and fire rescue fees and cost allocation services.
The affidavit requires contractors to make representations regarding their qualifications, legal standing, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Contractors may submit proposals for one, multiple, or all identified service areas, with the City reserving the right to award one or more contracts based on qualifications and best value determination. The document functions as a standard due diligence verification mechanism to ensure contractor eligibility and integrity in the procurement process, with completion and submission of the affidavit constituting a mandatory requirement for proposal consideration.
