About this file
This Common Carrier Attestation is a compliance document required by Pinellas County, Florida, for contractors bidding on or executing county contracts. The attestation requires contractors to confirm compliance with Florida Statute 92.525 and Section 908.111 of the Florida Statutes, specifically attesting that they will not knowingly transport unauthorized aliens into Florida during the contract term, except to facilitate detention, removal, or departure of such persons from the state or United States. The document applies to any entity defined as a "common carrier"—a person, firm, or corporation that transports persons or commodities for hire as a regular business and offers services to the public. The attestation must be signed by an authorized representative of the contractor under penalty of perjury and must include the contractor's name, the representative's printed name and signature, the date of execution, a Federal Work Authorization User Identification Number, and the name and number of the associated Pinellas County contract.
Pinellas County reserves the right to terminate any associated agreement for cause if the contractor is found in violation of the attestation. This document is directly applicable to the Carpet Maintenance Cleaning Services contract opportunity, indicating that any contractor providing cleaning services across Pinellas County facilities must execute this attestation as a condition of contract award and performance.
