Commercial_Corridors_Map.pdf

This is a Commercial Corridors Map file related to Sacramento County's request for proposals to develop an Investment and Revitalization Strategy for commercial corridors located in unincorporated areas of the county. The project involves analyzing 15 identified commercial corridors that face challenges including aging infrastructure, vacant or underutilized properties, fragmented ownership, and misaligned land use patterns. Qualified consultant teams, which may include a lead firm with specialized subconsultants, will be required to deliver a comprehensive work plan, existing conditions and corridor assessment memorandum with economic modeling and infrastructure analysis, opportunity sites and highest and best use recommendations, investment and revitalization strategy documents, pilot corridor implementation plans, engagement summaries, and a final report with implementation framework. These deliverables must be individualized and tailored to the specific characteristics and needs of selected commercial corridors within the unincorporated areas of Sacramento County.

The map document serves as a reference tool identifying the geographic locations and boundaries of the 15 commercial corridors designated for this revitalization initiative. These corridors have been identified by the County as critical to neighborhood economic vitality and long-term reinvestment potential, with alignment to the County's General Plan objectives to maximize residential development opportunities where appropriate. The consultant deliverables are designed to provide Sacramento County with clear, actionable recommendations that address feasibility of reinvestment, identify barriers requiring remediation, and outline specific County actions necessary to support corridor revitalization efforts.
