About this file

This is a Job Aid document from the Massachusetts Commonwealth Procurement System (COMMBUYS) that provides instructional guidance for vendors on withdrawing, reopening, and resubmitting quotes through the platform. The document outlines the procedural steps vendors must follow when they need to modify their submissions, such as correcting uploaded files, adding excluded information, or including additional materials in their quote responses. The process is available to vendors with Seller privileges in COMMBUYS and can be executed at any time prior to the Bid Opening Date, which serves as the submission deadline for responding to bids. The Job Aid walks vendors through accessing the COMMBUYS portal, locating previously submitted quotes under the Submitted sub-tab, and initiating the withdrawal process through the Summary tab of the selected quote.

The document provides detailed step-by-step instructions for executing the withdrawal, reopening, and resubmission workflow within COMMBUYS. After withdrawing a quote, vendors receive a yellow confirmation message and can subsequently reopen the quote to make modifications across multiple tabs including General information, Items, Questions, and Attachments. Vendors are instructed to review their modifications for completeness and compliance with bid requirements prior to final resubmission. The process concludes with clicking the Submit Quote button and confirming the action through a dialogue box. This Job Aid serves as procedural guidance documentation and does not contain pricing information, set-asides, or contract award details.
