DESCRIPTION

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. This RFQ is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small

Business (SDVOSB).

All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and certified in by SBA in Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS). Interested

SDVOSB’s must be listed to receive contract awards.

Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, is soliciting offers for Fire Alarm and

Suppression System Svcs (AMA). The services will be provided to Thomas E. Creek Medical Center in

Amarillo, TX in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).

Questions: All questions must be received by Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 13:00 CST. All questions submitted for this solicitation shall be electronically sent to the following email address:

marcellus.jackson@va.gov. Please title email Solicitation Number, Questions. Questions shall clearly identify which part of the solicitation. Questions received after the stated date and time may be addressed at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Answers to questions will be addressed via an amendment to the solicitation and posted to https://www.sam.gov or by other means if systems are offline.

Proposals: All proposals are due NLT Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 13:00 CST via email to marcellus.jackson@va.gov. Quotes shall be received on or before the date and time specified in Block 8 of the SF 1449. Please title email with Solicitation Number, Proposal Submission. All proposals shall be submitted in four (4) separate volumes and labeled with RFQ Number, Offeror’s Name, and the appropriate volume number. See Instructions to Offerors in solicitation for more details. All proposals shall be in a PDF format with the Solicitation Number and the Offerors name. Due to email constraints by the VA, it is requested that emails sent to the POC be no larger than 7MB. Multiple emails can be sent to the POC for an offer.
