About this file
This is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services in Illinois regarding contract P-45928 for snow removal services at the Michael ALandic Building and Chicago Medical Center. The change order seeks to increase contract funding to cover all snow removal services through the end of the contract term. No specific project overview, quantities, response dates, bidder meetings, or award information is detailed in this notice.
The change order was necessitated by unexpected snow received in massive quantities beyond original projections, requiring the utilization of next-year funds to cover current-year expenses. The notice indicates that additional snow is anticipated before the contract period ends and further funding will be required for the following year. This change order exceeds the $25,000 threshold requiring posting on the Bulletin/BidBuy for 14 days, and the circumstances necessitating the increase are deemed either not reasonably foreseeable at contract signing or germane to the original contract terms. The reference number for this change order is 23-416CMS-BOPM4-P-45928.

| thedetails: It is necessary to add additional money to P-45928 so that we can cover all snow removal services that may be required until the end of the contract for the Michael A Bilandic Building and the Chicago Medical Center. Due to unexpected snow being received in massive quantities, we are having to utilize funds from the next year to cover and we are still expecting more snow this year and will need more next year. |
