About this file
This is an Amendment No. 6 to DEP Contract No. HW559, a professional services indefinite delivery contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, Inc. The contract amendment, executed on March 26, 2014, extends the contract completion date from February 9, 2016, to February 9, 2021, and exercises a five-year renewal option. The contract is funded through a combination of federal and state appropriations supporting the Waste Cleanup Program under a task assignment basis.
The contract provides professional engineering and geological support services for the Waste Cleanup Program. Amendment No. 6 implements a 3% across-the-board reduction in equipment cost rates as detailed in the revised Attachment E-1 rate schedule. The contract ceiling was increased from $20,000,000.00 to $40,000,000.00, with a funding increment increase of $88,417.46 (from $1,519,035.42 to $1,607,452.88). The amendment achieved $10,000,000.00 in cost savings through rate renegotiation. The revised rate schedule includes direct labor rates by classification, indirect overhead and administrative rates, fringe benefits, laboratory rates for primary and secondary analyses, equipment rental rates, vehicle rental rates, personal protective equipment, and a daily expendables rate of $32.50. Budget entities receiving appropriations include 101492, 101494, 082474, 088502, and 080524.
