About this file

This Addendum No. 1 pertains to the City of Clovis, New Mexico's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard Improvements Phase II project (CLO191-11). The addendum provides updates to the original bidding documents, including revisions to the Bid Form for Construction Contract, with changes to estimated quantities for various items such as curb drop inlets, rigid electrical conduit, and single conductor cables. The document adds a Special Provision for the Street Lighting System (Allowance), updates the List of Drawings, and includes a Campaign Contribution Disclosure Form. The project involves roadway reconstruction along approximately 0.99 miles of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, from West 7th Street to West 21st Street, with comprehensive improvements including new pavement, sidewalks, drainage systems, utility relocations, and traffic signal replacements.

The addendum reflects modifications based on a pre-bid conference held on July 12, 2023, addressing contractor questions about electrical services, voltage, and specific bid items. A Street Lighting System allowance of $80,000 is included for coordination with Xcel Energy. The project will require coordination with various utility providers for adjustments and relocations of public and private utilities. Bidders are advised that sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on August 2, 2023, at the City of Clovis Office of the Purchasing Agent. The project includes provisions for New Mexico Resident Contractor and Resident Veteran Contractor preferences, with specific guidelines for bid evaluation and potential adjustments to bid pricing.
