About this file
The City of Phoenix has issued a Request for Information (RFI) #RFI-26-0064 for an Employee Online Store, seeking insights from businesses capable of producing promotional items and managing an online merchandise platform exclusively for City employees. The RFI aims to gather comprehensive information about potential vendors' capabilities in creating an online store that will sell City-branded merchandise such as t-shirts, polo shirts, jackets, water bottles, umbrellas, pens, mugs, tumblers, portfolios, and lapel pins. Key dates include the RFI posting on August 1, 2025, with inquiries due by August 20, 2025, and the RFI submittal deadline set for September 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
The proposed online store must include robust functionality such as secure credit card processing, order management with tracking and returns capabilities, various shipping options, customer support features, and the ability to integrate with existing City systems like SharePoint and eChris. The platform should support promotions, discounts, email marketing, and SEO, while ensuring data security, PCI compliance, and accessibility standards. Vendors are required to demonstrate their experience in producing branded merchandise, managing online stores, and providing quarterly performance reports. Importantly, this RFI is for information gathering purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or guarantee of future purchases, with the City potentially issuing a Request for Proposals at a later date based on the responses received.
