About this file

This is a Vendor Reference Submission Form for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) in Illinois related to the Citizen City Exhibit Fabrication Invitation for Bid (IFB 26-506ALPLM-ALPLM-B-53162). Vendors responding to this IFB must submit a minimum of three project references from clients for whom they have completed museum or cultural institution projects within the past ten years. At least two of the referenced projects must demonstrate permanent exhibits designed for heavy public use. The form requires vendors to document projects that include children's galleries, family-focused exhibitions, or hands-on learning environments; fabrication and integration of interactive exhibit components; coordination with museum designers, media developers, and client representatives; and installation within active public institutions. For each project reference, vendors must provide the organization name and address, project name and description, project timeline, approximate contract value, and detailed information regarding scope of work performed and interactive elements incorporated.

The reference submission form includes checkboxes for vendors to identify specific scope categories and interactive elements relevant to each project, such as mechanical and electro-mechanical interactives, design engineering and prototyping, fabrication of moving exhibit elements, sensor-based interactives, touchscreen systems, projection systems, audio systems, interactive lighting, embedded media hardware, and network-connected or programmable exhibit elements. Vendors may submit additional project references beyond the required three by using attachments in the same format. The Citizen City Children's exhibit project involves approximately 1,000 square feet of fabrication and installation services for the state of Illinois.
