About this file
This is a Deliverable Acceptance Form for the Ohio Attorney General's Office (AGO) Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) project to construct custom-built aluminum crime scene van bodies. The project requires the delivery of ten (10) custom-built aluminum crime scene van bodies (Box #1 through #10) that will be installed on Ford F350 60" CA SRW chassis provided by the AGO/BCI. Each van body is specified as 10 feet long by 7 feet wide with 6 feet of interior height and features all-aluminum construction with integral side compartments, rear roll-up shutter doors, LED lighting systems, and specialized storage configurations. The form serves as a checklist for verification, validation, and acceptance of each deliverable, with 34 detailed specifications covering structural components, compartments, storage solutions, electrical systems, and auxiliary equipment including scene lighting, warning lights, power systems, and heating systems.
The acceptance process requires verification through visual inspection and manual manipulation by the BCI project team, followed by validation involving mechanical testing before final acceptance by the appropriate BCI approval authority. Each van body must meet all 34 specified deliverable descriptions, ranging from basic structural elements and compartment configurations to complex systems such as the 3000-watt AC power inverter system with auxiliary batteries, Webasto 5kW auxiliary heater, Feniex lighting systems, and backup camera installation. Approval and signature by the BCI Project Manager and Sponsor constitutes formal acceptance and authorizes both the installation of the custom van bodies upon chassis delivery and the processing of supplier invoices for payment. A separate acceptance form must be completed for each custom-built aluminum crime scene van body delivered by the supplier.
