About this file

This Change Order Notice, issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services on behalf of the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC), documents an amendment to Contract P-62455 for the Future of Gas (FOG) workshops. The change order extends the contract timeline due to increased complexity in the Commission's Future of Gas proceeding, with the proceeding deadline extended from February 2026 to January 2027 to allow comprehensive analysis and refinement of 79 submitted proposals and completion of a critical pathways study. The facilitator remains engaged to support these extended efforts and assist in preparing the final report. While the scope of work remains unchanged, the extended timeline requires additional time to complete the existing deliverables.

Per the Change Order Notice guidelines, this amendment increases the contract time and requires posting on the Bulletin/BidBuy for 14 days to provide public notice. The change order was necessitated by circumstances that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the original contract was signed, specifically the need for additional analysis time for the complex proceeding and the associated proposal refinement process. No pricing modifications or cost increases are detailed in this notice document.
