About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to the Southern Nevada Dust Control contract opportunity in Nevada. The form serves as a mandatory certification requirement for vendors participating in federally funded contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. The document establishes that the undersigned certifies no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence any federal agency officers, members of Congress, or congressional employees in connection with the awarding of federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements, and outlines the obligations for disclosure should non-federal funds be used for lobbying purposes.

The certification requires vendors to include identical language in all sub-award documents at all tiers, including subcontracts and sub-grants, with all sub-recipients required to certify and disclose accordingly. The form constitutes a material representation of fact under section 1352 of the U.S. Code, with submission serving as a prerequisite for transaction completion. Non-compliance carries civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure to file the required certification. The form provides designated fields for date, solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and authorized signature, all of which must be completed by the responsible party executing the certification.
