About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division under the Department of Administration. The document serves as a mandatory certification requirement for vendors and contractors engaging in federally funded contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements with state and local government entities in Nevada. The form requires authorized signers to certify that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be used to influence federal officers, members of Congress, or their employees in connection with the awarding of federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements, or any extensions, continuations, renewals, amendments, or modifications thereof.

The certification mandates that if any non-federal funds are used for lobbying purposes in connection with the transaction, the vendor must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities," according to its instructions. All sub-recipients, including subcontractors and sub-grantees at all tiers, must be required to include this certification language in their award documents and certify accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects violators to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation. The form includes fields for the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, signature, and date to be completed by the submitting party.
