About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying document associated with a School Nutrition Consumable Supplies contract opportunity for the State of Florida. The certification applies to a one-year contract for the purchase of school nutrition consumable supplies to be delivered to the district warehouse in Bartow, Florida. The document requires authorized officials, including the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, to certify that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence officers or employees of Congress, members of Congress, or agency employees in connection with the awarding of this federal contract.

The certification stipulates that if non-federal funds are used for lobbying purposes, the undersigned must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, Disclosure Form to Report Lobbying. All sub-awards, sub-recipients, sub-contracts, and subgrants must include identical certification language and comply with disclosure requirements accordingly. The certification is a material representation of fact required under Section 1352, title 31, U.S. Code, and submission is a prerequisite for contract award. Failure to file the required certification subjects the responsible party to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation.
