About this file

This document is a comprehensive technical specification for the Wekiva Golf Club Irrigation System project, prepared for Seminole County, Florida. The technical specifications cover multiple divisions and sections, including general requirements, site work, and exterior improvements, with a specific focus on an irrigation system replacement. The project involves installing a new underground irrigation system at the Wekiva Golf Club, utilizing raw water and requiring detailed documentation such as record drawings, warranty information, and specific installation guidelines. The technical specifications outline requirements for materials, installation methods, testing procedures, and quality assurance for the irrigation system components.

The project will use specific manufacturers like Rain Bird and Hunter Industries for irrigation equipment, including controllers, rain sensors, control valves, sprinkler heads, and electrical components. The irrigation system will be constructed using schedule 40 pipes, with precise installation requirements such as 18-inch minimum cover for main pipes and 12-inch cover for lateral piping. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on all materials and labor, and must follow strict guidelines for excavation, root protection, and system testing, including a hydrostatic test at 150 psi and operational testing to demonstrate proper coverage and functionality. The estimated project cost is $2,150,000.00, and bidders are encouraged to review the detailed technical specifications to ensure compliance with the project requirements.
