About this file
This document is a template product demonstration agreement between a vendor and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). It outlines terms for the vendor to demonstrate its products or services listed in Enclosure 1 at no cost to the government for a period of time specified in the agreement. The demonstration location(s) would be defined, and the vendor waives claims for compensation and cannot imply government acceptance in advertising. CBP would not be liable for damages and the vendor must indemnify the government. The agreement can only be modified in writing by authorized representatives, with the contracting officer the only authorized representative for CBP. Enclosure 1 would summarize the products or services to be demonstrated, deployment scope of work, demonstration areas, and participants, with additional documentation as necessary.
