About this file

The project involves civil and repaving services for Anderson High School, located at 15475 Leroy St, Southgate, MI 48195, with work to be completed during the summer break between June 12th and September 3rd, 2024. The scope of work includes parking lot repaving, curb work, selective sidewalk replacement, and storm water retention improvements, to be performed during standard shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

The affidavit requires contractors to certify they are not an "Iran linked business" under Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012, with significant penalties for false certification, including potential fines up to $250,000, investigation costs, and a three-year bidding prohibition. Contractors must affirm they are not and will not become an Iran-linked business during the contract period. The RFP is specific to the Southgate Community School district and focuses on preparing the high school's infrastructure for the upcoming academic year by completing critical paving and civil works during the summer months when school is not in session.
