About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to an RFQ issued by the School Board of Citrus County, Florida for Pressure Washing and Other Cleaning Services. The addendum addresses clarifications and revisions to the original solicitation and maintains the original submission deadline of Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM. The scope of work encompasses all labor, equipment, materials, chemicals, fuel, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide scheduled and emergency cleaning services for roofs, buildings, walkways, ceilings, rafters, tile and grout, and other structures and surfaces at facilities owned or operated by the Citrus County School Board. All items in the scope must be bid to be considered for award; partial bids for individual service categories will not be accepted. The contract will be established for a period of one year. Most work will be conducted when students are not present, though daytime work may be permitted at the District's discretion. Contractors are not required to visit each site in person and may utilize tools such as Google Earth or request estimated square footage from the District's Maintenance Department.
The pricing structure establishes firm unit prices for specified services under Section A and hourly labor rates with percentage markups for specialty services under Section B, with all pricing to be submitted on the Bid Price Form (Attachment A-2). Historical data indicates that Section A services averaged approximately 94,000 square feet annually from 2022-2024, and the average annual expenditure for these services was approximately $7,100.00 for the same period, though the amount may vary based on need and budget. The contract carries no guaranteed dollar value. Contractors must provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals prior to application and are responsible for supplying all necessary equipment including lifts where required, removing wastewater and debris, and arranging for site access. The District may award the contract to multiple vendors designated as Primary and Alternate. Prior bidding information from the 2022-10 solicitation is available online at www.myvendorlink.com under the Citrus County School Board vendor portal.

Questions/Answers:

If all schools, then more details are needed on each building and grounds. Can you share the prior bid that was awarded this job? Is Hillsborough part of this bid?

Yearly square footage is based upon available budget at time of service. 4) Previous bid award documents can be viewed online at www.myvendorlink.com. Navigate to Bid Solicitations, select Agency “Citrus County School Board”, and search ID Number 2022-10. 5) No.
Q4: What`s the budget for this solicitation?
A4: Please refer to page 14, Item 7. Contract Value.
Q5: With the Work request form and estimate forms that are on pg 46 of the contract. Would the awardee be required to mobilize to see every job/facility, per every request/job? In order to receive estimates of SQFT?
A5: Contractor will not be required to come to site for every project request. Historically, Contractor's have been known to utilize Google Earth to help obtain square footage of rooftops, and the Maintenance Department can also provide a total estimated footage for other areas at the time of project to help assist in preparing the Work Request Estimate Form.
