About this file
The document is a Brand Name Justification for the procurement of S.I.C Biometrics fingerprint readers and replacement batteries by the United States Marshals Service (USMS). It describes a requirement for a five-year firm fixed price Single Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (SA-BPA) to acquire the Identifi-45 and Identifi-50 fingerprint readers, along with their replacement batteries. The justification outlines that the S.I.C Biometrics readers are the only models compatible with the USMS's approved mobile application, and there are no anticipated cost savings from competition. The total estimated value of the BPA is $918,487.45. This requirement is being set aside 100% for HUBZone small businesses under FAR 13.5 procedures.
