About this file
This is a Solicitation Amendment No. 1 (BPM006864) issued by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES) for pest control services across eligible ADES facilities throughout Arizona. The amendment, posted on March 19, 2025, with proposals due April 9, 2025, corrects an Arizona Procurement Portal error by reopening the financial tab to allow vendors to access and complete the financial submission component of the request for proposal. The amendment maintains all other provisions of the original solicitation in their entirety and becomes fully executed upon electronic approval in the State e-Procurement system by an authorized representative of the offeror and application to the contract by the Procurement Officer or delegate. Procurement Officer Emilie Sombrio oversees this solicitation on behalf of ADES, located at 1789 W. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85007, Mail Drop 1541.
The amendment does not introduce new pricing terms, set-asides, or other substantive contract modifications; it solely addresses a technical portal issue that prevented vendors from completing their financial proposals. Interested contractors must access the corrected Arizona Procurement Portal to submit comprehensive service proposals that demonstrate expertise in commercial pest control, current licensing, adequate insurance coverage, compliance with Arizona state regulations, and documented experience with large-scale institutional facility management. While specific budget ranges are not detailed in the amendment itself, similar state contracts for comprehensive facility pest control services typically range from $50,000 to $250,000 annually depending on facility scope and size.
