About this file

The document is a Bid Bond for the Webster Avenue Roadway Improvements Project, Phase 2, and Fay Street Roadways Improvement Project located in Colorado. The project involves roadway improvements consisting of concrete curb and gutter repair and replacement, along with a 2-inch mill and 2-inch compacted asphalt overlay on street surfaces. The work will be completed in accordance with Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and CDOT M & S Standard Plans.

The Bid Bond serves as a financial guarantee for the bidding process, ensuring that the selected contractor will execute the contract and provide performance bonds if awarded the project. While specific pricing details are not provided in this document, the bond indicates that the surety company executing the bond must be listed on the Treasury Department's current approved list and authorized to conduct business in Colorado. The bond protects the project owner by providing financial recourse if the winning bidder fails to fulfill contract obligations or does not proceed with the project as agreed.
