About this file
This is a Bid Form for the Parking Lot Repair/Replacement - Citywide project (Project OAZ0085) involving the City and County of George Di Ciero in Colorado. The project encompasses comprehensive parking lot improvements across three specific locations: George Di Ciero City and County Building, Depot Museum, and Outlook Park. Work includes removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, concrete surfaces, sidewalks, curbs, striping, ADA improvements, landscaping, and irrigation rehabilitation. The bid form details multiple line items with quantities, including 8,418 square yards of 2-inch mill and overlay at the main location, 19,866 square feet of sidewalk replacement, and installation of 13 ADA signs and 44 detectable warning surfaces.
The bid includes a base bid and two alternates, with optional pavement type alternatives for accessible parking stalls using either asphalt or concrete. A construction water deposit allowance of $2,500 and a force account of $15,000 for the base bid are included. The City retains sole discretion in selecting alternate bid items, and the contract award will be based on the base bid plus selected alternates. Optional items are requestable but not mandatory for bidding, and the City has flexibility in utilizing these unit prices as needed. The bid form allows for potential increases, decreases, or omissions in quantities, with payment based on actual work performed.
