About this file

This bid document is issued by the Town of Glastonbury Parks Department in Connecticut for the Center Green Fountain Updates project (GL-2027-10). The project encompasses the complete replacement of an existing fountain system, including the fountain structure, filter, pump system, and electrical equipment currently located within an underground vault. The scope of work involves relocating the control and electrical system to an above-ground enclosure designed for functionality and aesthetic compatibility with the surrounding landscape, while maintaining the pump system in the underground vault to minimize operational noise. The project includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing modifications along with site improvements necessary to support the new installation. Bidders must submit responses through the secure e-Procurement portal at https://glastonburyct.bonfirehub.com/ under the specified bid title. Each bid submission must be accompanied by bid security as required by the Town.

The bid documents do not specify explicit pricing terms, set-asides, renewal options, or contract term duration in the available information. The project is driven by concerns regarding regular accessibility to the existing system, moisture intrusion issues, and long-term maintenance challenges associated with the current underground configuration. Interested bidders are required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the complete project execution. Specific response deadlines, site visit schedules, pre-bid conferences, and award dates are to be accessed through the e-Procurement portal or referenced in the complete bid package documentation.
