The document addresses clarifications and responses to bidder inquiries regarding the procurement specifications, requirements, and terms. The amendment provides critical information to ensure bidders have accurate understanding of the solicitation requirements prior to submission of their bids, covering product specifications, delivery requirements, and other contractual conditions necessary for proper bid preparation and submission.

The Q&A document clarifies technical specifications, performance standards, and operational requirements for the snow plow cutting edges to be supplied to IDOT districts. REBID IDOT Snow Plow Cutting Edges FY27 Bid Amendment 1 Question and Answers

Question 1 – Is the date of June 30, 2027 correct? Holding a price for that long will be difficult with price increases.

Answer 1 – No. June 30, 2027 is not correct. The agency is actually needing the items by October 31, 2026. We have provided an Amendment for Section 1.5.5, Section 3.1 and Section 4.1.6 of the Contract. This amendment will provide the new dates in the updated contract.
