About this file

Addenda #3 for Bid 25-10 is a document issued by the Putnam County Procurement Department in Palatka, Florida, addressing multiple questions related to a solicitation for mulching and transport of yard trash and vegetative debris services. The addendum clarifies key aspects of the bid, specifically eliminating transport of mulch from the original scope of work. The document provides historical data on incoming yard trash volumes, showing 6,401.21 tons in 2024, 5,379.98 tons in 2023, and 4,965.39 tons in 2022, with a total of 18,112.78 tons mulched by the contractor during that timeframe.

The current contract pricing is $8.50 per ton for mulching, with no additional transport pricing (previously $5.00 per ton for on-site transport and $10.00 per ton for off-site transport). The addendum confirms that no annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase is included in the contract, and that the standard AIA form for a Bid Bond is acceptable. Potential bidders are advised that the bid now focuses solely on mulching services, with no transportation component, and that the contractor will be responsible for processing the incoming yard trash and vegetative debris at the facility.
