About this file

This document is a Response to Clarifying Questions 3 for Invitation to Bid #2025-35 by Clackamas County, specifically addressing the Marquam Sand Shed project. The document contains a single clarifying question from potential bidders regarding the precast block design and concrete mix requirements for the retaining wall. The county's response indicates that Ultrablock, as shown on Details 1/1 and 2/1 of the HHPR Site Plan, is the basis of design for the retaining wall blocks. Contractors are permitted to submit substitution requests for pre-manufactured blocks that closely match the Ultrablock specifications for review.

The clarifying questions document is part of the broader bidding process for the Marquam Sand Shed project, which involves site development, retaining wall installation, and construction of a pole-barn style sand shed. This document demonstrates the county's commitment to providing clear guidance to potential bidders and maintaining transparency in the procurement process by addressing specific technical questions that may impact the bidding and construction phases of the project.
