About this file
This document is a response to clarifying questions submitted by interested firms regarding Invitation to Bid #2022-60 for the Stokes Building Membrane Reroof and Infill Project issued by Clackamas County and Oregon City. The project involves replacing the building membrane, addressing the skylight infill, and potentially replacing the parapet cap. The county will provide a core sample and perform the work on the interior access hatch. Contractors will be responsible for any required permits and approvals related to accessing or staging on the railroad side of the building. Electrical conduit will require sleeper protection, and the existing built-up roofing (BUR) system will remain in place.
The document clarifies that no insurance is required for railroad right-of-way access, as this access is not permitted unless specifically authorized. Pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, and funding sources are not provided in this response to clarifying questions.

Answer: Yes, this is included in the package. Permits are in place for the skylight.
Permits are required for the roof

Answer: If possible, the same cap will be reused. Please provide an add/alternate to cover replacement if deemed necessary.

Answer: Yes, this will be performed in house by Clackamas County.
5. Does the BUR stay?
