Amendment 001
SECTION B - SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS
B-1
QUANTITIES AND PRICING INFORMATION
Set forth below is the Government's program estimates for Types I, IV, and V distinctive currency paper.
A pricing matrix has been included to mitigate offeror's risk in pricing and to ensure that the Government receives maximum savings possible based on total quantity ordered from each supplier for each Program Year under each lot (see B-5). If the Government elects to make multiple awards, the total minimum amount for each Program Year will be pro-rated based on the award lots contained in each contract.
The table below illustrates the approximate percentage of the currency paper program for the periods covered herein and are provided for informational purposes only.

The solicitation includes Line Items for test samples of each denomination of Distinctive Currency Paper for design approval of security features (See Section H-11, entitled, “Sample Lots for Denomination Design Changes”). It is not anticipated that the Government will order against each of these line items in each program year. These line items are included in each program year to allow for flexibility in testing, evaluating and implementing New Currency Designs.
B-2
AWARD SCENARIOS
The Government may elect to award a single contract or multiple contracts to one or two offerors, respectively, offering the greatest value to the Government in accordance with award scenarios set forth below. The lots have been structured to allow offerors to propose on all of the BEP's distinctive currency paper requirements or specific portions thereof. For those offerors who desire a mobilization period, Lots 5, 7, 9, and 11 provide for a twenty-four (24) month mobilization period for offerors to gear-up for production. If the Government elects to make a single award, award may be made for Award Scenario I consisting of Lot 1 only. If the Government elects to make an award to two separate offerors, only one of the award scenarios illustrated in B-2, Award Scenarios, may be awarded. If an offeror proposed on Scenario I, Lot I, in order for the proposal to be considered, the offeror must propose on all award scenarios.

PRICING MATRIX
Offerors shall complete a pricing matrix for each Program Year under each lot for which they are proposing. Proposed prices per sheet for each type of paper shall be inserted in the chart. Offerors shall propose specific ranges of total sheets ordered to provide for quantity discounts. Offerors may establish as few or as many ranges as they desire; however, ranges of total sheets shall be fairly consistent from year to year. If the proposed ranges are not consistent, the offeror shall explain why the ranges are different from program year to program year. Failure to provide an adequate explanation may result in rejection of an offer in accordance with Section M-4, Unbalanced Offers. Individual Delivery Orders shall be priced in accordance with Section H-20.
Note: For evaluation purposes, the Government will utilize the weighted average unit prices (See Section M-5(a)) and the estimated quantities set forth in Section B to determine the total proposed price of currency paper.
