About this file
This document is a Letter of Intent template for the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) or Veteran Small Business (VSB) certified vendors participating in a state and local contract opportunity. The template is to be used by the prime vendor to document the negotiated contract percentage, detailed scope of work, and subcontract amount for each identified BEP/VSB certified vendor. The prime vendor is required to submit a separate, signed Letter of Intent from each BEP/VSB certified vendor, which must be approved by the procuring agency. Any changes affecting the identified BEP/VSB certified vendor may require written approval from the agency.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for the LINK IV EBT System RFP for the State of Illinois. The contract details, such as response dates, award dates, and contract term, are not provided in this document. However, the Letter of Intent template indicates that the prime vendor must specify the percentage of the estimated contract award that will be subcontracted to the certified BEP/VSB vendor, as well as a detailed description of the work to be performed or goods/equipment to be provided by the BEP/VSB vendor.
