The project involves rehabilitating airport markings across approximately 46,820 square feet for the base bid and 10,480 square feet for an alternate bid, which includes surface preparation and applying taxiway markings in yellow and black waterborne paint with Type III reflective media. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on October 15, 2024, with sealed proposals due on November 7, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The contract duration is set at 30 calendar days from the notice to proceed, with work anticipated to start in late 2024 or early 2025.

The project is federally funded through the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and includes specific requirements for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation with a 14.37% goal. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond and comply with various federal regulations, including Davis-Bacon wage requirements and Buy American provisions. Four bidders submitted proposals, with Hasco Inc. submitting the lowest base bid at $60,043.60 and Hi-Lite Airfield Services offering the lowest alternate bid at $13,399.40. The project requires comprehensive compliance with federal contract provisions, including equal employment opportunity, safety standards, and non-discrimination regulations.
