STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

Thomas Stone National Historic Site

Standing Seam Metal Roof and Seamless Gutters

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

In 1776, Thomas Stone and 55 others signed the Declaration of Independence. In doing so, Stone risked his home, his family's security, and even his life to support the Declaration of Independence's promise of freedom. Thomas Stone National Historic Site (THST) managed by the National Park

Service, preserves the ancestral home of Thomas Stone. The park is situated in historic Southern

Maryland, within an easy drive from Washington, D.C.

The park’s visitor center is the main contact station for all visitors that come to the park. The visitor center building currently has an exposed-fastener corrugated metal roof that’ll be replaced with a new hidden-fastener standing seam metal roof. Project includes the installation of new seamless gutters and downspouts.
