Written questions regarding the site visit or solicitation package must be submitted electronically to Contracting Officer Edward Dingle at edward_dingle@ios.doi.gov no later than 1:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, September 02, 2026. Individual site inspections will not be conducted, and no telephonic questions will be accepted. Responses to all submitted questions will be provided to all prospective contractors as a solicitation amendment.

SITE VISIT INFORMATION
The National Park Service invites you to attend a site inspection to provide all services including labor, equipment, and tools required to remove identified high risk trees, trim the roadsides and protect the resource while accessing the work sites and adjacent to trees being removed in the park. The work shall include the access of sensitive sites where site protection may be needed to prevent damage to the resource, the removal of trees through tree felling operations if it is determined that there is adequate room for falling (after considering the resource and any below ground resources), tree dismantling and or rigging operations for trees without adequate room for felling, debris staging and removal from site, traffic control on road sides where work will be performed, and the control of jobsites where pedestrian traffic may be a factor in accordance with the attached statement of work for Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Site Visit will be held at the time and place listed below:

207 Freedom Court Fredericksburg Virginia 224089 TIME: 10:00am. (ET) DATE: Monday, August 31, 2026.
The purpose of this inspection is for interested parties to ascertain the local conditions at the location, which could materially affect conduct of operations and the cost thereof. All questions must be formally submitted electronically in writing to the Contracting Officer at the email address below NO LATER THAN 1:00pm (ET) on Tuesday September 02, 2026 (No telephonic questions will be accepted). A summary of questions and answers arising from the site inspection and/or review of the package will be provided to all prospective contractors as an amendment to the solicitation. Only those written answers provided to all offerors will be the Government's official response to questions.
Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. No oral questions will be accepted. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.

We consider attendance at this site inspection vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost-effective quote, and to understand the total desired result by the Government. Failure to attend this inspection may not be used as an justification for omissions or miscalculations in technical or price proposals/quotes. It is again emphasized that it is most advantageous for each interested party to have qualified representation at the site inspection. Coordination for attending the site visit shall be made through the site visit point of contact listed below. *NO individual site inspections shall be offered nor conducted. For planning purposes, all parties who plan to attend the site visit must RSVP with the point of contact below no later than Tuesday August 04, 2026, 3:00pm EST.
