SITE VISIT INFORMATION

The National Park Service invites you to attend a site inspection to Replace culverts along the historic Stone House Road (commonly known as Dellingham Road), Clean existing drainage, and Regrading Damaged Sections of Dellingham Road. The Site Visit will be held at the time and place listed below:

LOCATION: Kings Mountain National Military Park located at 2625 Park Road Blacksburg, SC 29702.

TIME: 10:30 am. (EST) DATE: Tuesday, June 08, 2021.

The purpose of this inspection is for contractors to ascertain the local conditions of the grounds at each location, which could materially affect conduct of operations and the cost thereof. All questions must be formally submitted electronically in writing to the Contracting Officer at the following email address: edward_dingle@nps.gov NO LATER THAN 5:00pm (EST) on Thursday, June 10, 2021 (No telephonic questions will be accepted). A summary of questions and answers arising from the site inspection and/or review of the package will be provided to all prospective contractors as an amendment to the solicitation. Only those written answers provided to all offerors will be the Government's official response to questions. Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. No oral questions will be accepted. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.

We consider attendance at this site inspection vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost-effective quote, and to understand the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this inspection may not be used as an excuse for omissions or miscalculations in quotes. It is again emphasized that it is most advantageous for each contractor to have one (1) qualified representation at the site inspection. *NO individual site inspections will be offered nor conducted.

COVID-19 Special Instructions: Pursuant to Executive Order (EO) 13991, in order to protect the Federal Workforce and individuals interacting with the Federal Workforce, and to ensure the continuity of Government services and activities, on-duty or on-site Federal contractors shall wear mask, maintain safe physical distance, and adhere to other public health measures as provided in the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. Therefore, the number of representatives from each interested firm/company attending this site visit shall be limited to one (1) that must adhere to these instructions.
