About this file
This is a Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determination document (WD# OR20260082) issued by the U.S. Department of Labor for building construction projects in Coos County, Oregon. The determination establishes prevailing wage rates effective May 18, 2026 (Modification 1), with the original determination dated January 2, 2026. The wage determination applies to all federal construction contracts subject to the Davis-Bacon Act awarded for building construction work in the specified Oregon county.
The document lists prevailing wage classifications and associated rates for ten skilled trades and labor categories: Heat and Frost Insulator, Bricklayer, Electrician, Backhoe/Excavator/Trackhoe Operator, Crane Operator (50-89 ton), Mason Tender (Cement/Concrete), Hod Carrier, Pipelayer, Cement Mason/Concrete Finisher, Plumber, and Sheet Metal Worker, along with Common or General Laborer, Ironworker, and Carpenter classifications. Wage rates are identified using union rate identifiers (SU, UAVG, SA, or SC) indicating whether rates derive from current union negotiated agreements, weighted union averages, or state-adopted rates. The determination notes that Executive Order 13706 requires contractors to provide employees with paid sick leave (1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 56 hours annually), and Executive Order 13658 establishes a minimum wage rate of $13.65 per hour for covered contracts from May 11, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Unlisted classifications needed for work not included in the listed categories may be added at contract award only through labor standards conformance procedures (29 CFR 5.5).
