About this file

This document is a question and answer related to a state or local government contract opportunity for Digital Folding Wheelchair Scales. The original solicitation had included a requirement for "200 patient memory" on the wheelchair scales, but the government entity has clarified that this specification was incorrect and not a necessary feature. The document states that most wheelchair scale models do have the ability to recall the last weight, but the "200 patient memory" is not a common or required feature.

The summary does not provide any additional details about the overall contract, such as quantities, response dates, award information, or contract term. Pricing terms, set asides, incumbent information, or funding sources are also not included.

B-22310 – Digital Folding Wheelchair Scales

1. The description of the Wheelchair Scales state “200 patient memory”, we have been in contact with several manufactures and nobody is aware of Wheelchair Scales with “200 patient memory” Most do have a recall in which the last weight can be displayed. Can you expand on that description and/or possibly provide a specific Model/Manufacturer of the scale needed if it is known?

Answer: Please disregard “Approximate 200 Patient Memory”. Specs were pulled from looking at different models and some had it and some don’t. It isn’t necessary.
