About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum issued by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services for the JPMC Police Pursuit Motorcycles solicitation, with the procurement number 26-416CMS-BOSS4-B-48841, dated 9/16/2025. The document provides clarification on two specific inquiries from potential bidders regarding the procurement process.

The Q&A addresses two key points: first, that MSRP repair parts will not be evaluated when determining the low-cost vendor, and only the cost of the motorcycles will be considered (referencing section C.8.2 of the vendor instructions); second, that subcontractors with an anticipated value less than $100,000 do not need to be disclosed in Section 1.6 of the contract, with only subcontractors exceeding $100,000 requiring disclosure. These clarifications provide additional guidance to potential vendors preparing their bid submissions for the police pursuit motorcycle procurement.
