EAFB-004 TITLE: Design Environment for eXperimental Test card Execution and Review

(DEXTER)

TECHNOLOGY AREA(S): Test Card Development

ACQUISITION PROGRAM: 413 Flight Test Squadron (FLTS) Design Environment for eXperimental Test card Execution and Review (DEXTER)

OBJECTIVE: The 413th Flight Test Squadron needs a system that designs, creates, consolidates, and manages test cards for various test missions allowing for version control and uniformity of cards by leveraging a digital environment for creation. The overarching goal is to increase the accuracy and efficiency of test missions by having a purpose built tool for developing, managing, and approving test cards.

413th Flight Test Squadron is pursuing a solution that the submittal firm substantiates a present ability to:

1. Adapt currently available software applications or develop a new software application to create a dedicated test card design environment.

2. Establish various levels of access, version control, and routing for review and approval.

3. Allow the user to build test card templates and required fields.

4. Implement the template to build a master test deck for the test program or system under test.

5. Build a test mission deck from the master test deck and route for review and approval.

6. Add more fields or rearrange fields on test card.

7. Output the test cards to paper with future capability, to create digital test cards for use on tablets.

8. Support 50 user licenses for minimum of one year

9. Provide 24/7 phone support for minimum 1 year

Units currently build test cards by adapting Microsoft Office applications to the need. Test cards are then created and iterated during a test program. Test mission decks are created from a pool of test cards for a program. Mission deck assembly requires excessive work ordering and formatting the test cards. This deck or individual sets of cards are reviewed and approved at the appropriate levels.
