About this file
The document is an Attachment VII Service Calls file related to a tire and repair services contract for a municipal fleet, specifically involving the City of Edinburg's Solid Waste Management Department. The attachment outlines detailed service call specifications for tire procurement and repair services, with strict requirements for tire delivery, pricing, and warranty. The contract allows for ordering up to 16 tires per size, mandates delivery within four hours of order, and requires all tires to be produced within the last 12 months prior to delivery.
The pricing terms are comprehensive, with bid prices expected to include all associated costs such as fuel and delivery charges. There are no minimum or maximum order quantity restrictions, and pricing is to be held for the entire contract term. The warranty conditions are robust, covering defective materials and workmanship for the life of the original tread, with exceptions for road hazards. The document emphasizes that incomplete bid submissions or blank line items may result in bid rejection, and service calls will be charged only once per event, with specific guidelines for pre-trip inspections and tire repair billing.
